The CORE Academy’s workplace training engagements span the kinds of organizations whose staff are doing people-centered work where the human element actually matters. The audiences we work with come to us at specific decision points. We work especially well with organizations whose staff operate in people-centered, high-stress, or high-stakes environments. If you are looking for the cheapest possible compliance training, we are not the right fit. If you want training that actually changes how your team operates, we are.
The CORE Academy is a Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System (PQAS) Approved Organization and a Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48 Approved Provider. If your staff hold Pennsylvania educator certifications, or work in early childhood and school-age settings, that approval is what allows outside training to count toward requirements they are already obligated to meet. Applications are in process for CEU and CPE credits. Contact us to confirm what credit a specific program carries for your team.
Nonprofits and community organizations including direct-service nonprofits, advocacy organizations, recovery-focused programs, youth-serving agencies, and community development organizations. Most of these clients run lean, do high-stakes work, and need training that translates immediately into how staff function on Monday. As a result, we scope workplace training tightly to mission-critical capabilities for organizations in this category.
Schools and education teams including private and charter schools, education programs, after-school programs, and adjacent education organizations. School staff face a wide range of training needs: leadership development for administrators, classroom-focused behavioral training, communication training for cross-functional staff, and the certifications required by Pennsylvania regulations.
Healthcare-adjacent service organizations, residential care, behavioral health programs, and the broader healthcare-related sector. Workplace training for these clients spans BLS and clinical certifications alongside the leadership, behavioral, and culture work that supports clinical staff in demanding roles.
Behavioral health and support teams including outpatient programs, residential programs, day programs, and care coordination teams. These clients often come to The CORE Academy specifically for behavioral management and DSM-5 educational workshops, then expand into broader workplace training as the relationship develops.
Supervisors, managers, and department leaders carrying the responsibility for teams that need development. Many engagements start with one supervisor or one department head reaching out about a specific team challenge and grow into broader organizational work from there. The supervisor-level entry point is one of the most common ways workplace training engagements begin.
For supervisors, emerging managers, and senior leaders. Covers decision-making, communication, team accountability, and the skills that make leadership legible to staff.
For full teams and individual contributors. Covers staff growth, communication, performance, and the daily skills that shape how people work together.
For HR professionals, managers focused on people practices, culture, and retention. Covers hiring communication, conflict, systems that affect staff experience.
For schools, healthcare-related teams, nonprofits, and agencies. Covers de-escalation, trauma-informed practice, and responding to high-stress or complex behavioral situations.
Professional education on the DSM-5-TR diagnostic framework for staff in educational, healthcare-related, and social service settings. Not clinical training, professional context and literacy.
For individuals focused on professional growth, communication, and self-awareness. Available as standalone workshops or as part of a broader organizational engagement.
American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS certifications when team certification is part of the need. Most engagements blend several of these. For example, a school might need behavioral management training plus leadership development for department heads. Similarly, a nonprofit might want HR training paired with employee development for a staff cohort.
A simple way to think about how we work. Standalone workshops mean a specific topic delivered in a scoped session. Most organizations start here because a team has a clear need and a single session will move the needle.
Custom engagements are shaped around your organization’s operating reality, often as part of a longer partnership that begins with an organizational assessment. We sit down with leadership, see what is actually happening, build a strategic plan, and then deliver the training and development the plan recommends. Longer engagements are scoped and priced as a project. The initial on-site consultation to scope the work is always free.
We do not run cohort programs your staff has to apply to and graduate from. Nor do we hand you a generic curriculum and walk away. Instead, we build engagements around what your organization actually needs, and we adjust the work as it unfolds. CORE stands for Creating Opportunities for Reflection & Education. The reflection part shows up in how we scope training. In short, we figure out what is actually happening before we recommend the work.
