Overview
This policy explains how registration, refunds, rescheduling, and cancellations work for The CORE Academy training and certification classes. By registering for a class, you agree to this policy.
The CORE Academy classes use a blended learning format: an online coursework portion you complete on your own time, followed by an in-person, hands-on skills session. Please read the sections below carefully, because access to the online portion affects refund eligibility.
Registration and Payment
Registration is confirmed when payment is received and you receive a confirmation email. Seats are limited and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Refunds
- Full refund: Requests made at least 48 hours before the scheduled in-person skills session, provided the online coursework portion has not been started or accessed.
- No refund: Once the online coursework portion has been accessed, or for cancellation requests made less than 48 hours before the scheduled in-person session.
Because online course content is delivered immediately upon registration, the online portion is non-refundable once accessed. This ensures fairness to all participants and aligns with standard practices for blended learning programs.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule to a future class at no charge if you request at least 48 hours before your scheduled in-person session. You may reschedule one time per registration. Additional rescheduling requests may be subject to a rebooking fee at The CORE Academy’s discretion.
No-Shows
If you do not attend your scheduled in-person skills session and have not rescheduled or canceled in advance, your registration fee is handled at The CORE Academy’s discretion. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Completing the online coursework portion alone does not result in certification; the in-person skills competency test is required.
Cancellation by CORE Academy
The CORE Academy may cancel or reschedule a class due to low enrollment, instructor availability, weather, or other circumstances. If we cancel a class, you may choose a full refund or a transfer to another scheduled class at no charge. The CORE Academy is not responsible for travel or other costs incurred in connection with a canceled class.
Group and Organizational Training
Refund, reschedule, and cancellation terms for group certifications and custom organizational engagements are defined in the separate agreement or proposal for that engagement and may differ from this policy.

To request a refund or reschedule, contact us at contact@coreacademytraining.com or (570) 301-3316 with your name, the class date, and your order or confirmation number.
Certification
A digital American Red Cross certificate is issued only after successful completion of both the online theory portion and the in-person skills competency test. Registration and payment alone do not constitute certification.
